The new Alfa Romeo sedan keeps the same engaging handling, comfortable ride, and powerful engines that Giulia fans are used to. Alfa Romeo didn't make many changes this year, but they did replace the Ti Sport trim with the Veloce trim.
2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
New Alfa Romeo Giulia: Power and Engines
The new Alpha Romeo Giulia 2022 comes in the base model, which has three trim levels, and the Alpha Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. The base models have an inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. This combination makes 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque.
The base engine gets 33 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city. If you choose the all-wheel drive model, the fuel economy drops a little to 31 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city.
The Quadrifoglio comes with a 2.9-liter V6 twin turbo engine backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. This combination makes 505 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. The V6 gets 25 mpg on the highway and 17 mpg in the city.
